What Electric Vehicles Are Available In The US?

There are 102 electric vehicles (EVs) available today and 29 qualify as truly electric. Many others are hybrid electric that still have gas powered engines to supplement power or increase travel range.  Some brands have short and long range varieties expanding the number of EV models.  Electric vehicle variety is growing rapidly with several new releases expected in 2023 through 2025.

Some well known brands are declaring they intend on changing their entire model lineup to electric vehicles by 2030 to 2035.  Nissan currently has 2 electric models.  The Leaf and the Ariya which is expected at dealerships in late 2022.
