Can An Electric Vehicle Tow

Yes, electric vehicles can tow just like most other vehicles. Many are not designed for that purpose and may not even be equipped with a hitch.  A Nissan Ariya, for example, can tow 1,500 pounds. That's is enough for a small trailer with a couple kayaks or a wood splitter.  Some electric trucks and larger SUVs like the Ford F150 Lightning or the Hummer EV can tow 7,700 to 10,000 pounds.  That's some real electric towing power!  We recommend you consult your manufacturer's vehicle manual and get the details before attempting any towing.
